freeside installation help

Hello,

Freeside version is 1.5.0pre6. All dependent software installed and working. Perl is 5.6.1 runing on solaris 7. Database is postgresql version 7.4.6.
 when I typed make perl-modules in the freeside to level directory, I get the following response:  

 cd FS; \
[ -e Makefile ] || perl Makefile.PL; \
make
sh: test: argument expected
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `perl-modules'

What could be wrong? Thanks in advance for your help
