Upgrade 1.4.0 to 1.5.0pre6

Hello,

 I have built a new server using 1.5.0pre6 on top of RH7.3.  We have an
existing 1.4.0 build and I would like to migrate the customers / packages
over to the new box. Is there a proper way to go about this? Can I just
dump the DB into the new DB or will other changes need to be made?

New box:
