If the "download database" file didn't work and a pg_dump did, I
immediately start wondering if it's a line ending problem.  Did you save
the "download database" file on a Windows machine?

I see from doing a search for "LinkPoint build_subs" that you had a
problem with this when you first installed Freeside.  Did you have to
make code changes at that time which got lost when you reinstalled?
