[freeside-users] Modification Question

It would have to be wrapped into a background job with status updates
displayed through some javascript trickery, much like the way
edit/part_svc.cgi works for changing service definitions.  The reason
being, freeside-bill can take many minutes to complete, which is much
longer than your web browser is willing to wait before it times out.  So
simply "running freeside-bill from the cgi" would only work for very small
sets of customers.
